Wednesday, July 13, 2011 The mutant plant.

This is a Calla Lily and something has gone terribly awry. The leaf has taken on the colors of the flowers. It's just weird and strange but kind of beautiful at the same time. It sits on our front step and we have them all over the yard but this one has developed a personality of it's own. We didn't have a chance to go anywhere to get a picture of something else today so this is it. I spent a good part of the day preparing for tomorrow when Melissa is going to teach a class to Susan, Karen, Donna and myself on Photoshop. It should be interesting to say the least. I'm not one to catch on quickly and she isn't the most patient teacher when it comes to teaching me. I guess we are both gluttons for punishment because she keeps trying to teach me stuff and I keep letting her. On Friday we both head out to Calgary for four days. It should be interesting with the Stampede on and all. I think Hank can look after things here until I get back. I get to see my grand kids again so that's a double bonus. Well, I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow so I think I will get to bed and be all refreshed for the class tomorrow. I love my life, I really, really do. I'm the luckiest person I know. Maybe I'm just tired and need sleep. So until tomorrow I bid you good bye and does anyone know where I can buy an apple for the teacher?
