Thursday, July 14, 2011 Photoshop class

Today Melissa taught four of us Photoshop. Susan, Donna, Karen and I sat for a few hours learning how to manipulate pictures and about all the things you can do with this program. It's awesome but I found it to be a lot of information and I don't process info very well anymore. This photo was suppose to be of our, now defunct, theater in town. The picture originally had red writing but Melissa walked me through it and this is the finished project. We wanted to take this shot as a reminder of the Famous Players Theater in downtown Chilliwack that is now closed, Since we have the new Galaxy  by Wal-Mart  I knew it would only be a matter of time before we lost the old landmark. I remember going there years ago and how thrilling it was when they made it into two theaters. I think I'm going to like the Photoshop program but I need to use it often to make the info stay in my head. I'm sure that will be okay as Melissa is the one that knows all about it and she is usually on hand to help. So until tomorrow I bid you good bye and smile, you're on Candid Camera.
