This is the new addition to the area around our pond. Hank has always wanted a heron but they seemed to be too pricy for him so he waited for them to come on sale at Wal-Mart this year. He got a good deal on it and the guy said if he waited they might come down even more. He wasn't going to wait in case they sold them all and he missed out. He also purchased a mallard duck. They look good around the water. We did have a bit of a too do at Wal-Mart. They had a gazebo we wanted to buy on the floor but it seems you can only be put on a waiting list to get one. It also seems that the waiting list is 26 people long. After asking about how long it would be before we might get one, their best estimate would be about a month. Really??? A month?? Summer would be almost over by then. Why would we purchase a summer item in the middle of August?? Nothing he could do says the stock guy. He's right. So that's why I have sent a little letter to head office. My opinion is they should take it off the floor or put up a sign that says " None in stock. Waiting list of 26 people in front of you. Might get it mid August." Just a suggestion. So now I have ranted I will bid you good bye until tomorrow and wonder where I can get a cheap gazebo.
