Summer Solstice....you did us proud!! Finally sunshine and wonderful warm weather. I had to rub my eyes to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I don't know what the temperature reached today but it was hot, not that I'm complaining, not even a little, just saying. Did a spot of painting outside and brought Tequila, Melissa's cat, inside with me. So here she is. Yep, the catnip that is hanging over her head has put her in a mellow mood. I'm thinking it must have the same affect on cats that weed has on humans. She just loves the stuff. Maybe if we took it away she would lose weight. They don't call her Chubbers for nothing. I think she gets the munchies afterwards. I almost missed my picture today. I just happen to take this one this morning and it was a good thing I did. When I went outside to take one this evening, I got to talking to my guests and time ran away on me. We really chatted about a lot of things. They are repeat guests and are great to have here. So as the light faded and they sat on the deck having a cup of tea or coffee, I didn't notice that it was a little late to take the picture. Thank you Tequila for being the druggie that you are. So until tomorrow I bid you good bye and hello sunshine.
