Today we took mom to the doctor and then to lunch. Two hockey games ago mom sat in our front room and watched the Canucks vs Bruins, not because she wanted to, but because we were all watching it and she was here visiting. Every now and then she would make a comment...."that wasn't good" or "what happened there" . So she was getting involved to some point. Today she asked me how the last game went and Melissa and I told her we lost. She mumbled something about that not being good. As we sat waiting for our lunch she mentioned that one of the ladies at the home asked her to pray for us to win the next hockey game. She told them she would. Well, I was a little disbelieving but she reiterated that a prayer had been said asking for a win. So tonight we watched game 5 and guess what......oh yeah....we won. It never hurts to know people in high places. After the game we did some karaoke. It's always fabulous when the girls sing together. I loved it. This is a picture of Melissa trying to cover her mouth while she was singing so my picture wouldn't show her belting out a song. I took the picture anyway. So until tomorrow I bid you a good bye and a roaring " Woot woot, go Canucks go".
