We met Anne for breakfast at my favorite place in Chilliwack, Cookies. You really can't beat this place for food and price. We then decided to go to Fort Langley to meet up with Monica and then maybe a movie. We seemed to have hit it lucky ( or maybe unlucky, depending on how you look at it) and arrived just in time to see the last of their May Long Weekend parade. I love tractors. As we looked for Monica we found her run off her feet at Wendels. People lined up out the door. We meandered through the little stores and browsed at the many antiques and collectibles then went for a cool beer and a quick bite at the pub while we awaited my princess to get off work. This picture was taken down a little back alley that had a couple of stores and a restaurant. I loved the colors of the plants and the quaint stained glass windows. There is just something about a red wall that draws me to it. After we left the pub we met Monica and drove to the Colossus to see Johnny Depp in 3D in the IMAX. Talk about getting up close and personal with Johnny......I loved it. After arriving home we had the pleasure of Mom and Anne for a really nice visit . Not unusual as our visits with Anne and Mom are always great. So until tomorrow I bid you a good bye and hope everyone enjoyed at least one day of the long weekend.
